There are only six teams left in the NFC with a chance to capture the Super Bowl, lets take a look at how those teams may do against the NFL playoff lines...
1: Green Bay Packers (11-4-1 ATS, 11-5 SU) The Packers are certainly a dark horse team to beat all of the NFL playoff lines and win the whole enchilada. They come into the postseason as the #5 seed in the NFC, but they also own the best cover streak in the league. Since losing to Tampa Bay, Green Bay has gone 7-1 SU and 7-0-1 ATS. It already crushed the Cards in Arizona last week, but with more on the line on Sunday, what will the outcome be?
Up Next: Away @ Cardinals (+1)
2: Minnesota Vikings (9-6-1 ATS, 12-4 SU) Thank you Dallas. If not for the Cowboys stealing the NFC East from the Eagles on the final day of the regular season, the Vikes would be playing this weekend. As it is, losing three of its previous four games before destroying the Giants in Week 17 was bad enough, and they have to be considered a team on alert for an upset in two weeks. QB Brett Favre can never be counted out, though. He still claims that this team is better than the one that he won the Super Bowl with in Green Bay.
Up Next: Bye
3: Dallas Cowboys (9-7 ATS, 11-5 SU) Have the Cowboys broken their hex? It sure looks like this is the year that QB Tony Romo can notch his first postseason victory. He has thrown for 4,483 yards already this year, the best of his career. Romo put together a great game against the Eagles last weekend, throwing for 311 yards and a pair of scores, and he'll need a similar outing to send the boys from the City of Brotherly Love packing.
Up Next: Home vs. Eagles (-4)
4: Philadelphia Eagles (9-7, 11-5 SU) Shame on the Eagles for getting embarrassed by the Cowboys on the final day of the regular season. It's one thing to lose. It's another to get shut out. QB Donovan McNabb claims that his team has "bigger plans" than Dallas for winning its division. Sure, Donovan. If those plans included blowing a chance to win the NFC East, losing out on a first round bye, and having to come from the #6 seed to capture the conference, that's going to be news to us.
Up Next: Away @ Cowboys (+4)
5: Arizona Cardinals (9-7 ATS, 10-5 SU) For the second straight year, the Cardinals enter the playoffs having the worst record of any team in the tournament. However, HC Ken Whisenhunt pulled it off last season, and there's no way that this team should be counted out.
Up Next: Home vs. Packers (-1)
6: New Orleans Saints (8-8 ATS, 13-3 SU) And then there’s the Saints who are the #1 seed in the conference, but have slid to three straight losses after winning 13 straight to start the year. Not only that, but New Orleans has gone 0-5 ATS in its L/5 and 2-8 ATS its L/10 after opening up the '09 campaign at a perfect 6-0 ATS. Things don't look so hot on the Bayou.
