The Big Ten had a mixed bag of college football betting results in the eleventh week of CFB wagering. Find out what it all means for your future ncaaf spread wagers with this week’s BetUS Big Ten Power Poll…
1: Iowa Hawkeyes (7-3 ATS, 9-2 SU) (LW: 2) The Hawkeyes may not have won in the Horseshoe on Saturday, but even though they won't be going to the Rose Bowl, there's no reason that the Capital One Bowl shouldn't jump on this squad so long as it doesn't lose its last game. Iowa dropped in OT to Ohio State, which there is no shame in, especially considering that it was a hefty, hefty underdog. Don't trip up against the Gophers though!
Up Next: Home vs. Minnesota (-10)
2: Ohio State Buckeyes (8-3 ATS, 9-2 SU) (LW: 1) Ohio State is heading back to the Rose Bowl, and after watching USC get trounced by Stanford, the Buckeyes have to be breathing a sigh of relief that they won't be facing the Trojans. There's only one matter of business left at hand this week, and that will come when they head to Ann Arbor to try to keep Big Blue from going bowling for the second straight season.
Up Next: Away @ Michigan (-12)
3: Indiana Hoosiers (7-3 ATS, 4-7 SU) (LW: 3) Indiana won't be amongst the teams going bowling from the Big Ten this year, but it put on a respectable show in Happy Valley and locked up an easy cover that was never in doubt. The Hoosiers dropped to 1-6 in conference with a 31-20 defeat. The home game against the Boilers will be fun even though nothing but bragging rights will be on the line.
Up Next: Home vs. Purdue (+3.5)
4: Wisconsin Badgers (5-5 ATS, 8-2 SU) (LW: 7) The Badgers are still flying under the radar even though their only two losses this year were at the hands of the Buckeyes and the Hawkeyes. They crushed Big Blue 45-24 on Saturday afternoon, further adding to the misery that is the season of the Michigan Wolverines. Two more victories should wrap up a spot in a solid bowl game for Wiscy once again.
Up Next: Away @ Northwestern (-7.5)
5: Purdue Boilermakers (5-5-1 ATS, 4-7 SU) (LW: 7) Purdue's bowl dreams went up in flames on Saturday afternoon in what probably amounted to a bowl play-in game with Michigan State. The Boilers should still be proud of their efforts down the stretch of this season, as they had won three out of four before dropping to Sparty. They'll hope another beat down of Indiana is in the cards, as they knocked off the Hoosiers 62-10 last season.
Up Next: Away @ Indiana (-3.5)
6: Michigan State Spartans (4-5-1 ATS, 6-5 SU) (LW: 8) They didn't get there by much, but the Spartans hung on to a 40-37 victory at Purdue and locked up another trip to a bowl game. The victory may have saved HC Mark Dantonio's job, as a victory next week at home against the Nittany Lions doesn't seem likely. The fact that MSU is already at six wins has to be comforting.
Up Next: Home vs. Penn State (+3)
And the rest…
7: Penn State Nittany Lions (5-6 ATS, 9-2 SU) (LW: 5)
8: Michigan Wolverines (5-6 ATS, 5-6 SU) (LW: 6)
9: Minnesota Golden Gophers (5-6 ATS, 6-5 SU) (LW: 9)
10: Northwestern Wildcats (4-6 ATS, 7-4 SU) (LW: 11)
11: Illinois Fighting Illini (3-7 ATS, 3-7 SU) (LW: 10)
