The Pac-10 continues to be one of the wackiest conferences in the country for football handicappers. Check out how BetUS stacks up the squads on the West Coast with this week's college football power rankings...
1: Oregon Ducks (5-2 ATS, 6-1 SU) (LW: 1) Maybe the Ducks really are for real! They went into Seattle and absolutely crippled the Huskies, and that's not an easy task. LSU nearly lost up there to start the season, and USC went down. A win this week will not only give the Ducks a huge lead in the Pac-10 in the Rose Bowl chase, but it may propel them into the National Championship talks if some of these big boys at the top of the polls start losing.
Up Next: Home vs. USC (+3)
2: Stanford Cardinal (5-3 ATS, 5-3 SU) (LW: 3) The Cardinal took a major step towards going bowling last week when it absolutely crushed Arizona State. Unfortunately, Stanford is going to need to find a way to win one more game in this ridiculously tough schedule to play one more in December. Have fun with Oregon, USC, Cal, and Notre Dame; better get healthy on your bye week!
Up Next: Bye
3: California Golden Bears (4-3 ATS, 5-2 SU) (LW: 2) This really is a tale of three different seasons for the Golden Bears. They started the season by scoring 146-points in their first three games, continued by scoring a total of six in their next two, and now they've bounced back by with 94 points in their L/2. Expect to see a big number hung on the board this week in the desert.
Up Next: Away @ Arizona State (-7)
4: Washington State Cougars (4-3 ATS, 1-6 SU) (LW: 7) Washington State comes back into the Top-5 this week after playing a strong game at Cal on Saturday afternoon. The Cougars buckled down on defense and found a way to stick in front of the hefty number for and cover for the fourth time in their L/5 games. That said; their trip to San Antonio for a neutral site battle with the Fighting Irish probably won't be too much fun his week.
Up Next: Away @ Notre Dame (+29)
5: Washington Huskies (4-4 ATS, 3-5 SU) (LW: 3) When it's all said and done this year, the Huskies may ultimately be looked at as just another 5-7 or so squad. However, this squad has clearly taken a ton of strides in the right direction this year, and they're still going to continue fighting towards a bowl game even though the chances of qualifying are slim.
Up Next: Bye
6: Arizona State Sun Devils (3-3 ATS, 4-3 SU) (LW: 5) Just when the Sun Devils thought it was safe to make plans for a December bowl game, they were absolutely obliterated by the Cardinal late Saturday night. Even though there are five games to get two more wins, it's unlikely that ASU will find those two 'W's with Cal, USC, Oregon, UCLA, and Arizona left on the slate. The best chances to reach six wins have come and gone.
Up Next: Home vs. California (+7)
And the rest…
7: Oregon State Beavers (3-3 ATS, 4-3 SU) (LW: 8)
8: UCLA Bruins (3-4 ATS, 3-4 SU) (LW: 6)
9: Arizona Wildcats (3-4 ATS, 5-2 SU) (LW: 10)
10: USC Trojans (2-5 ATS, 6-1 SU) (LW: 9)
