BGS College Football Power Ratings through Week 8

Updated BGS College Football Power Ratings through games October 24th.

The BGS Power Ratings (aka, The Oddsmakers Bible) are the most accurate Ratings in existence for the purposes of predicting game outcomes.

To use the Ratings, simply subtract the home teams Home-Rating from the visting teams Away-Rating. The resulting integer would be assigned to the home team as a pointspread and would reflect the predicted MARGIN of VICTORY.

For example, using the below Ratings in relation to the Ohio @ Ball State game this weekend;

Subtract the Ball State Home Rating of 54 from Ohio's Away-Rating of 68.5

(68.5 - 54 = +14.5)

The resulting pointspread of +14.5 is assigned to the home team, Ball State

Ball State +14.5

Conclusion: Ohio should win this game by 14 points
