1: Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks (5-1 ATS, 4-2 SU) (LW: 1) Louisiana-Monroe used the national spotlight on Tuesday to score a big 16-10 victory for its third straight cover. The next three are all on the road for the Warhawks, who are already eyeballing that big Halloween clash with Troy coming in two weeks. A victory at Kentucky may be good enough to send them bowling regardless, as they'll certainly be at least an eight-win team at that point.

2: Troy Trojans (4-2 ATS, 4-2 SU) (LW: 2) Troy won and covered its fourth straight game by beating FIU 42-33 on Saturday. This week may be a dangerous look-ahead spot against North Texas, because the showdown between the two 3-0 teams in the Sun Belt is on deck. The Trojans can't afford to let this one slip away.

3: North Texas Mean Green (3-3 ATS, 1-5 SU) (LW: 3) The Mean Green played their fifth straight 'over' contest last week and their second straight ridiculous shootout. After only carrying the ball 33 times through the Mean Green’s first four games, RB Lance Dunbar has toted the rock 57 times for 423 yards and seven touchdowns. Since North Texas keeps losing, no one in the country is realizing it.

4: Florida International Golden Panthers (3-3 ATS, 1-5 SU) (LW: 4) It's hard to believe that FIU's defense could get any worse, but that's what happened last week when the Golden Panthers were beaten by Troy 42-33. They rank dead last in the country in total defense at 499.8 yards allowed per game. Imagine how many points Florida’s going to hang on this team next month... but for now, they'll deal with the Red Wolves in search of their second win of the season.

5: Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders (3-3 ATS, 3-3 SU) (LW: 5) The Blue Raiders have been an offensive train wreck these L/2 weeks. They have only scored 13 points in games against Troy and Mississippi State, but the oddsmakers have the confidence that they'll be able to put up a ton against the Hilltoppers this weekend.

Up Next: Home vs. Western Kentucky (-18)

6: Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns (2-3 ATS, 4-2 SU) (LW: 7) The Ragin' Cajuns made Saturday's game with Western Kentucky a heck of a lot more interesting than it probably should've been, as the Hilltoppers had a shot to steal a victory in spite of the fact that they were down 16 points with just a few minutes to go. Still, it was another victory for ULL, who has very quietly stuck around in the Sun Belt race.
