BGS College Football Power Ratings through Week 5

Updated BGS College Football Power Ratings through games October 5th.

The BGS Power Ratings (aka, The Oddsmakers Bible) are the most accurate Ratings in existence for the purposes of predicting game outcomes.

To use the Ratings, simply subtract the home teams Home-Rating from the visting teams Away-Rating. The resulting integer would be assigned to the home team as a pointspread and would reflect the predicted MARGIN of VICTORY.

For example, using the below Ratings in relation to the Utah State @ New Mexico State game this weekend;

Subtract the New Mexico State Home-Rating of 58 from Utah State's Away-Rating of 64

(64 - 58 = 6)

The resulting pointspread of 6 is assigned to the home team, New Mexico State

New Mexico State +6

Conclusion: Utah State should win this game by 6 points
