Rachel Alexandra was recently purchased by Jess Jackson of Stonestreet Stables and trained by Steve Asmussen. Despite the fact that Rachel Alexandra has never raced against colts, many oddsmakers now have her as the Preakness favorite.

Jockey Mike Smith will be aboard Mine That Bird. Though Mine That Bird will be without his winning jockey Calvin Borel, he could still have what it takes to take on the Kentucky Oaks-winning filly.
